Ridiculous!!!!!

I apologize for anyone who is offended by this but I have a rant! I am OK with people who like sports-but being a sports hater, I don't try to put myself in sports type situations. So I was shopping at Kroger's today and while I was trying to pick out which frozen food entrees to buy, my shopping was rudely and inappropriately interrupted by the loudspeaker announcing the OSU/Michigan game scores! I was so livid! If people want to freeze their asses off watching men barbarically run into each other and chase a damn ball around that's fine. I, on the other hand, do not want to be interrupted by such madness! Kroger's is a grocery store-not a sports bar!

Wino Weekend in Cleveland

Me and Aker made our jaunt to see Jason on Friday and after stopping twice to refuel her body since she was not stimulated by my talking, we finally made it there with Paris in tow. We mostly hung out Friday night and then Saturday morning we got up and Jason went to his training. Aker and I went out to breakfast and then she took off to go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame while I stayed at the apt. and took a nap and read a book. When she returned, Jason arrived shortly therafter and then we took off downtown and went to Tower City which was fun. Dorine beat us to the apartment within two minutes and we all got situated and began drinking champagne. Dinner was had at Macaroni Grill and then we came back to the apt to chill out and relax which was hard to do with Paris jumping all over the air mattress. Sunday we went to the food and wine expo and while Aker and Jason saw Giada from Food Network, me and Dorine began sampling foods and tried a brief amount of wine. Dorine and I then headed to the Alton Brown show, also from Food Network, and had a good time. We joined up with the other two and then we had a quick bite and the drinking began! Me and Dorine sampled about 17-20 wines and so we re-tested before buying some. It was a great time! We came back to the apt., packed up and headed our separate ways. My faux wine rack has now been replenished!

Vampire Seeker

I have recently become fixated on vampires lately. I am watching Moonlight on CBS on Friday nights to start off with. Now I am reading Twilight by Stephenie Meyer and after that is done I will be reading the 4th Anita Blake Vampire Hunter novel Bloody Bones. Some people do not get the eroticism that comes from either a good vampire movie, show, or book. I love vampires and would love to be immortal. However, this will not happen. I am not a big fan of blood so I would be an anorexic vampire-not too attractive for luring in victims. The guy on Moonlight just has a connection at a blood bank but again-still anorexic. The thing I love most about the vampire is the struggle to love one and not turn them into the monster they are and occasionally loathe. I also love the good vs. bad vampire brothers both in love with the same woman. Those are always really good! I also love when the female vampire is evil and turns the innocent man who struggles with his immortality. Just some thoughts but if any of you want some good rec's on vampire lore-let me know! And yes, this is way past due since Halloween was two weeks ago!

Myspace Survey Rant

I am becoming more and more annoyed with the surveys people are posting on MySpace. Some of them are so stupid and I don't get why some people spend so much time filling out the same old stuff all the time. I feel that your friends who know you know the answers to most of those questions already and even if they don't, they probably get it after the same three surveys about colors, food, and embarassing moments. I want to create an anti survey that asks benign questions and makes no sense. Wonder how many people will fill that one out! Oh well, I guess some people use the surveys as a time filler as I do with TV. To each their own I guess-but don't expect me to fill out any crazy long surveys-unless they are horror or sex related! LOL!

Gory Mayhem & A Late Night Surprise

Me, Mike, and Amy finally watched Saw 4 on Friday. At times I was like-why are they stretching this out. But the end was rather satisfying and raised more questions that it answered. There was of course plenty of gore, with one scene getting to me involving a knives and someone's face. It was a big ick factor! After the movie I came home to catch up on some shows and spoil Paris. Around 12:30 AM I saw lights headed towards the house which went off quickly. It was JASON! He suprised me after seeing his grandfather in the hospital in Columbus. It was great to see him. Saturday we did yard work, Jason mowed the yard and I weed eated. Later that night we met up with Mike at LaRosa's and the came back and watched two B movie horror films. They were actually pretty good. One was Drive Thru which was gory and funny. The other was Big Bad Wolf which was gory and predictable but it worked. Sunday we had brunch with the Triad and then Jason headed off. This weekend shall be fun as me, Aker, and Dorine will be converging in Cleveland to go to some food event.
